What Speech Stack is

Speech Stack is a materials and progress-tracking tool for use by, or under the direction of, a qualified speech-language pathologist. It is not a medical device and does not assess, diagnose or prescribe treatment. Treatment targets, approach and judgments about progress rest on your own assessment and professional judgment.

Your responsibilities

You are responsible for meeting the privacy rules that apply to your setting, including laws such as HIPAA and FERPA, for example by using de-identified client IDs and securing your device.

Content

Pictures, word lists, phrases, sentences and listening lists are provided for use within Speech Stack, in your therapy sessions and on take-home sheets you give to the families you work with. They may not be redistributed, resold or used to build other products.

Subscriptions

Subscriptions are purchased and managed through the App Store and renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Apple's terms govern billing and refunds. Verified graduate students in speech-language pathology programs may receive free access; eligibility and verification are described at the time of sign-up and may change.

Warranty and liability

Speech Stack is provided as is, without warranty of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from use of the app, including loss of data stored on your device. Keep your own records where your setting requires them.
