This policy describes how the Speech Stack app and website ("Speech Stack", "we") handle information. The short version: we do not collect, transmit, sell or share personal information, and the app works without an account.
When you use the app, the client IDs you enter, the sessions you save, the scores you mark and the worksheets you save are stored only on the device you are using. We have no access to this information and cannot recover it. Deleting the app removes it. We recommend using initials or a code as a client ID rather than a full name.
The app does not create accounts and does not send client information, usage analytics or device identifiers to us or to anyone else. The app contains no advertising and no third-party analytics code.
Picture files are loaded from our image library. Those requests contain only the name of the picture file; they contain no client information and are not linked to you.
If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you write. We use it only to reply to you and do not share it.
A future version may offer optional syncing between your own devices using your Apple iCloud account. If you turn it on, your data is stored in your iCloud account under Apple's terms; Speech Stack cannot access it. Sync is off unless you turn it on, and turning it off removes nothing from your device.
Speech Stack is operated by a clinician or caregiver. It is not designed for children to use on their own and does not knowingly collect information from children.
Because all data lives on your device, you control it directly: delete a client inside the app, or delete the app to remove everything. You can email us at any time with questions.
If this policy changes, the new version will appear on this page with a new date, and in the app's Help section.
